Vehicle Use & Restrictions

Ramp to Ride, Inc., is dedicated to providing a premium and secure rental experience. Our Vehicle Use and Restrictions policy is crafted to ensure the safety, reliability, and enjoyment of our fleet by both our valued users and the broader community. Please familiarize yourself with the following guidelines, which outline the acceptable uses of our vehicles and the necessary eligibility criteria for drivers. Adhering to these policies and restrictions is an unwavering requirement and condition in using any Ramp to Ride product or service. Failure to adhere to these policies can result in personal liability for damages associated, termination of the rental agreement, and immediate permanent removal from approved driver's list.

1. Personal Use Only
‍Vehicles provided by Ramp to Ride, Inc., are strictly intended for personal use. Users are prohibited from engaging in any commercial activities, including but not limited to rideshare services, taxi services, towing, leasing, or any other commercial use. The vehicle is to be utilized solely for personal travel, and any deviation from this intended purpose is a breach of this policy. Renters may have guests and associates in the vehicle.

2. Certified & Approved Drivers Only
‍Drivers explicitly listed and certified by Ramp to Ride, Inc., are authorized to operate the rented vehicle. Certification includes a thorough review of driving records and compliance with our eligibility criteria. Users are not permitted to allow unauthorized individuals to drive the vehicle under any circumstances. See our driver eligibility criteria.

3. Commercial Use Prohibitions
‍Users are expressly prohibited from using the vehicle for any commercial purposes, including but not limited to transporting passengers for hire, delivering goods or services, or engaging in any form of business activities. Any such use constitutes a violation of this policy and may result in the termination of the rental agreement.

4. Restrictions
Towing, subleasing, or transferring the vehicle to third parties is strictly prohibited. Users are not permitted to tow trailers, caravans, or any other objects behind the rented vehicle. Subleasing or lending the vehicle to others is also expressly prohibited and constitutes a breach of this policy. The use of the vehicle for rideshare or taxi services, whether through app-based platforms or any other means of passenger transport for hire, is strictly prohibited. Users are expected to adhere to all legal requirements and restrictions regarding the use of the vehicle for commercial passenger transport.

5. Compliance with Local Laws
Users must comply with all local laws and regulations pertaining to the use of the vehicle. This includes but is not limited to traffic laws, intoxication, parking regulations, and any other applicable rules governing the operation of motor vehicles.

6. Reporting of Authorized Drivers
Any changes to the list of authorized drivers must be promptly reported to Ramp to Ride, Inc.. Failure to notify us of changes may result in unauthorized individuals operating the vehicle, leading to a breach of this policy. By renting a vehicle from Ramp to Ride, Inc., users acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms outlined in this Vehicle Use and Restrictions Policy. Failure to comply with these terms may result in penalties, fines, and termination of the rental agreement.
