Cancellation & Late Policy

At Ramp to Ride, we understand that plans may change, and flexibility is key. This Cancellation Policy outlines our commitment to providing a fair and transparent process for cancellations, ensuring a seamless experience for our valued users. We encourage you to carefully review the following terms to understand how cancellations are handled.

1. Reservation Modifications:
Should your travel plans require adjustments, Ramp to Ride allows clients to modify reservation details within a specified timeframe. This flexibility is intended to accommodate unforeseen circumstances or changes in your itinerary. Users are encouraged to initiate modification requests promptly through our user-friendly platform or by contacting our dedicated customer service team. While we will do our best to accommodate changes, restrictions are in place limited and effectively disallowing modifications to reservations within 48 hours of the trip start time.

2. Cancellation Period and Fees:
To maintain a balance between flexibility and operational considerations, cancellations made within a designated period may be subject to applicable fees. Reservations cancelled earlier than 48 hours prior to the trip start date shall receive full return of funds to the original payment method provided. Reservations cancelled between 48 hours and 24 hours of the trip start time are subject to a 50% total fee. Trips cancelled within 24 hours of the trip start date are not refundable under any circumstance. These fees are designed to cover administrative costs and potential revenue loss associated with the cancellation. The specific cancellation period and associated fees are clearly communicated during the booking process and can be reviewed in detail on our website.

3. Refund Process:
In the event of a cancellation, Ramp to Ride is committed to processing applicable refunds promptly. Refunds, if applicable, will be issued in accordance with our policies, taking into consideration the timing of the cancellation and any applicable fees. Users can expect transparent communication throughout the refund process, with notifications provided at each step. Clients eligible for a refund shall receive full return of funds to the original payment method provided at the time of the reservation. We cannot offer alternate forms to return funds to.

4. Extenuating Circumstances:
We understand that certain circumstances may arise that are beyond your control. In instances of extenuating circumstances, Ramp to Ride may, at its discretion, consider exceptions to the standard cancellation policy. Clients facing such situations are encouraged to reach out to our customer service team, providing relevant details for consideration.

5. Late Pickup:
Your reservation is confirmed once payment has been processed and your confirmation email is received. Your vehicle is available to you for the entire duration of your confirmed booking, we do not enforce a late policy. Should you be running late to your reservation, simply get in touch with us to arrange your pickup at your convenience.

6. Late Return:
Renters are expected to return the rented vehicle promptly at the agreed-upon time. In the event of a late return, a late return fee will be applied. The late return fee is set at $100 per hour or fraction thereof. For example, if the return is delayed by 30 minutes, the late return fee of $100 will still be applicable.

7. Calculation of Late Fees
Late fees will be calculated based on the actual return time compared to the agreed-upon return time. The fee will be prorated for partial hours, with the user being charged for each hour or fraction thereof that the vehicle is overdue.

8. Payment and Settlement
Late return fees will be automatically charged to the payment method on file upon the return of the vehicle. Users will receive a detailed invoice outlining the late return charges. It is the user's responsibility to ensure the availability of sufficient funds for timely payment.

9. Grace Period
A grace period may be extended in exceptional cases, at the discretion of Ramp to Ride, Inc.. This grace period allows for a brief extension without incurring late return fees.
